Do you want a chance to discuss your software strategy with some experts, without letting everyone else know? What about posting code snippets and not giving your code away?
delphimentor@marcocantu.com was started to address these needs. It features a group of Delphi experts, providing guidance and direct help. It is like having a group of consultants always available to answer your questions and solve your doubts, both the complex architectural ones and the simple trouble in using a given property or method. delphimentor@marcocantu.com is a flexible service, that will be adapted to your needs. It provides you with a "private" password-protected newsgroup area specific to you or your company, where you can freely post even portions of your code or discuss your company software strategy.
Rather than being billed by the minute, or have a limited number of "incidents" delphimentor@marcocantu.com is a flexible service. We have set some limitations, to avoid using the service before you do a Google search... and to scale it for individual, small or large companies, but we are still open to changes in the model, as far as it works for both you and our team of experts.
The Deal and the Rules
- Delphi mentoring and technical consulting service, by a group of Delphi experts headed by Marco Cantu. Get help with your technical problems, strategic decisions, coding errors, everything short of a complete debug session. Have access to extra resources (from direct online discussion to a mentor visit), on demand and with fixed fee.
- Large number of requests if compared with standard support services, "one thread a week" with unlimited messages on the specific topic
- Private discussions over NNTP (plus Web). Only you (your company) has access to the area, and the experts helping will provide a "confidential" agreement (or full NDA if required)
- A shared area (reserved to all subscribers) for announcements, information, news, chats, and non-technical content.
- Optional Mentor Hours (MH) on Skype or a similar service, pre-arranged with one of the experts of the team. Mentor Hours will be billed at "15 minutes minimum" slots.
- Fixed yearly price, starting at 850 Euros for one person (one thread a week). There is also a new "mini" plan startig at 450 Euros!
Needless to say the current rules might change, but only in a way that is more favourable to (paid) users!
